Galvanized Razor Wire
Electro-galvanized razor wire, is a type of safety and protective material that is coated with a layer of zinc on the surface of steel through an electrochemical process. This type of galvanising treatment forms a protective layer by depositing zinc ions onto the surface of steel using an electric current in an electrolyte solution.
Hot dip galvanizing works like giving steel razor wires a protective “zinc bath”. Clean steel parts get fully dipped in liquid zinc at 450°C (about as hot as a pizza oven). At this heat, the zinc and steel fuse together like a super-strong metallic sandwich – creating a scratch-resistant armor that blocks rust and weather damage for years.

Hot-dip galvanized high zinc: 200-300 g/m²
